It seems Love/Hate is on its way to the US market.

RTÉ says the on-demand video service 'Hulu' has acquired the rights to the gangland drama.

It is set to launch the first 2 episodes in the coming days and release 2 subsequent episodes each week thereafter.

The website is in competition with other providers like Netflix in the United States.

It has bought seasons one and two of the show.

International interest

Meanwhile the 3rd season has also been snapped up by Australian and South Korean outlets.

To date the first and second series have also been broadcast in Scotland, Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the Middle East.

Last week an average of 820,000 viewers tuned in to watch the show here according to Tam Ireland.
