Long-running US comedy 'Two and a Half Men' has been axed.
The show premiered in 2003 and was once American TV's highest-rated comedy.
Ratings have steadily fallen since its original lead actor, Charlie Sheen, was famously fired from the show over revelations about his private life.
Ashton Kutcher stepped into the lead role as a new character on the show but ratings have fallen since the change.
Original cast included Charlie Sheen
Executive producer, Chuck Lorre, is planning a “season-long finale event” to end the show.
Fans are hoping the final series will see a surprise guest appearance from Sheen, who appeared as the main character for 8 years.
However, as he was killed off before he left, it’s unsure whether or not that will actually be possible.
CBS, which broadcasts it, has also cancelled a planned 'How I Met Your Mother' spinoff - saying the pilot episode was too weak.
