Manchester United’s poor run of results under David Moyes continues, as Southampton struck late to snatch a draw from their trip to Old Trafford.

Dejan Loveren capitalised on poor defending at a corner kick to level late in the game and cancel out Robni Van Persie’s first half strike.

United had been the better side for most of the game and could have gone in two or three goals ahead as several chances, including a Wayne Rooney strike off the bar, went without reward.

Arsenal continued their good start to the season with a 4-1 win over Norwich. Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey both scored one – with Wilshere’s a stunning piece of team play – but it was Mesut Ozil who once again stiole the show for the Gunners, scoring twice.

Chelsea were also 4-1 winners, coming back from an early Cardiff goal to run out easy winners at Stamford Bridge. Jordon Mutch gave Cardiff the lead early on but two goals from Eden Hazard, and one a piece from Oscar and Samuel Eto’o gabve the Bues the win.

Everton were 2-1 winners over Hull City, with Kevin Mirallas and Steven Pienaar the scorers for Roberto Martinez’s team. Sagbo was the scorer for Hull.

Sunderland’s miserable season continued, with Swansea inflicting a 4-0 defeat on the Black Cats at the Liberty Stadium. An own goal from Phil BArdsley was added to by a goal each from De Guzman, Bony and Chico.

West Broman d Stoke played out a 0-0 draw.
