Ulster have confirmed that Tommy Bowe is facing at least a month on the sidelines.

The province have revealed that the winger suffered a groin tear while on Ireland duty last month and scans on the injury today have confirmed that the 29-year-old will be out of action for between four and six weeks.

It is a major blow for the province as they prepare for their back-to-back Heineken Cup group games against Treviso as well as the busy Christmas period.
