Ulster have continued their push for a top 4 spot in the Rabo Direct Pro 12 table, despite missing out on a bonus point against Zebre in the first of today’s Pro-12 games.
Despite missing several first team players, including Tommy Bower, Rory Best and Johann Muller, the steady boot of Paddy Jackson led Mark Anscombe’s side to a 19-11 victory in Parma. Jackson scored four penalties as well as a conversion for a Darren Cave try. The Italian points were scored through a Guglielmo Palazzani try and two penalties from Gonzalo Garcia.
The win pushes Ulster into third place in the table.
