UEFA president Michel Platini is considering a u-turn on goal-line technology and introducing a system for the Euro 2016 finals in France.
The Frenchman says he feels obliged to consider the technology after the World Cup agreed its introduction, as did other competitions such as the Premier League.
Platini told Spanish newspaper AS he would want it used in conjunction with his system of having an extra assistant referee behind each goal.
He said: "In the World Cup they are going to use goal-line technology. So I am asking myself if goal-line technology should be introduced at Euro 2016, but together with the five officials per game."
