UEFA has approved minimum 10-match bans for players and officials found guilty of racism.

European Football's governing body hopes that member associations adopt "same or similar" sanctions.

The Football Association confirmed five-match minimum suspensions in the English game last week.

UEFA also says racist behaviour by fans would be punished by a partial ground closure for a first offence, while a second occurrence would result in a stadium being fully shut.
