First Divison side UCD are expected to be confirmed as an extra representative in this seasons Europa League for the League of Ireland.

Despite being relegated last season, the Belfield side finished top of the Premier Division Fair Play Rankings.

Each season, the three associations with the best disciplinary records in Europe are awarded an extra European spot in the first qualifying round on the Europa League.

UCD will join Cork City, St Patrick's Athletic and Shamrock Rovers in the first round in July.
