Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni has named his team ahead of tomorrow's must-win World Cup qualifier in Austria.

Trap has made two changes from Friday's disappointing 2 - 1 defeat to Sweden.

As expected, Paul Green comes into the side in place of the injured Glenn Whelan.

The other change sees Norwich winger Anthony Pilkington making his first competitive start for Ireland after replacing James McClean on the left wing.

Jonathan Walters and Shane Long have both shaken off doubts over their fitness to retain their places, with Walters on the right wing and Long joining Robbie Keane in attack.

The back-four is unchanged while David Forde also continues in goal.

Ireland are currently fourth in Group C, three points behind Sweden and trailing tomorrow's opponents on goal difference.

Ireland team to face Austria in Vienna tomorrow night: David Forde, Seamus Coleman, John O'Shea, Richard Dunne, Marc Wilson, Jon Walters, Paul Green, James McCarthy, Anthony Pilkington, Robbie Keane, Shane Long
