Toulon President Mourad Boudjellal has insisted there is no doping within the three-time European champions.

A Marseille prosecutor confirmed there has been investigations into pharmacists in Toulon, but they are some distance from allegations of doping.

Instead, the investigation is centred around breaches of public health codes.

Boudjellal claims the issues in question involve health insurance and social security fraud involving a pharmacist the club severed ties with a year ago.

"There is a pharmacist who had worked with us since 2006. When we heard about what he was doing, we stopped working with him," he said.

Toulon recently added Ireland captain Paul O'Connell to their star-studded squad and have won the last three European Cups (including two Heineken Cups and the inaugural Champions Cup).
