This Sunday evening we'll know who will face Kilkenny in the All Ireland Senior Hurling final, as Munster champions Cork do battle with league finalists Tipperary in Croke Park. It's a first-ever Championship meeting between these old rivals on the hallowed turf of Headquarters, but that won't dilute this great Munster showdown. Last night, at the Hurling for cancer research game in Newbridge between Jim Bolger's selection and Davy Russell's stars, I spoke to former All Ireland winning manager Liam Griffin and former All Ireland winning forward Charlie Carter. But before we spoke about Sunday's game I spoke to both about my, um, 'sterling' performance at corner back... before a tactical substitution by Griffin saw him throw caution to the wind by replacing me with some bloke called DJ Carey.
