A week is a long time in sport and just days after Christy O'Connor questioned the lack of identity in Tipperary's game, Tipp beat Dublin to avoid a relegation playoff and book an Allianz League quarter final spot.
But that does not necessarily mean all is well in Tipperary.
However, former Clare hurler Jamesie O'Connor believes talk of Tipp's demise has been a little bit hasty.
"Tipp certainly weren't as bad as people were making them out to be," said Jamesie on Off The Ball tonight.
"Sometimes you learn more from defeat than you do from victory and if you're a Tipperary defender, you'll certainly know going forward that you can't leave yourself as open they did in the Clare game. You take that on board, absorb that lesson and learn from it. Are they where they were in 2010? No, but I think they're still heading in the right direction. They have too many good players in too many key positions not to be taken as a serious force in the championship as the year progresses."
Jamesie also spoke to us about Clare's experiments in their draw against Galway and why the Tribesmen should have won the game.
