Tipperary have beaten Clare in the Munster Minor Hurling championship playoffs by 2-15 to 0-12.

They now progress to the semi-finals of the competition where they face Cork at the end of June.

In the semi-finals of the Connacht Junior Football championship, Mayo defeated Sligo 2-8 to 2-5 and Galway emerged comfortable winners against Leitrim on a scoreline of 1-15 to Leitrim's tally of 1-7.
