Tiger Woods could be close to a comeback in time for next week's Masters golf.

The former World No 1 played 18 holes at the venue for the major event at Augusta.

Woods has been taking time out until he feels his game is "tournament ready" again.

He fell out of the top 100 for the first time since 1996 earlier this week.

But he has won the Masters on four previous occasions, most recently in 2005.
