Three Championship clubs have been banned from signing players during the January transfer window.

Leeds, Blackburn and Nottingham Forest will all be prevented from making any purchases after failing to meet the Football League's financial fair play rules.

The regulations state that clubs are not allowed to lose more than £3M per season with shareholder or owner investment limited to £3M.
