Ireland defender Sean St Ledger will be playing alongside former international colleague Kevin Doyle at club level.
The 30-year-old has been signed by Major League Soccer club Colorado Rapids.
The former Leicester City centre-back, who has 37 Ireland caps, had been released by previous Orlando City for a "serious breach of club policy" last week.
