Galway's Mike Quirke and Kerryman Ray Silke joined Ger Gilroy on Off The Ball tonight to preview Sunday's matches.

Naturally the conversation turned to the early throw in. Ray cautioned that Galway fans wiltravelinglling in hope, not expectation after last week's rebound win against Donegal.

He believes that if Galway cannot front-up to Kerry during the first 20 to 25 minutes, they could be in for a long afternoon:

"Kerry will rip you limb by limb apart and smile while they are doing it. They are the ultimate assassins. They will really put the knife in," he cautioned.

Micheál Quirke highlighted the importance that kick out strategies will play and pointed to the Galway full back line as the main area which need to improve before the country can seriously challenge for an All Ireland.

Ray believes that there's a particularly "mean" look to Kerry this year and that the sight of Dublin lifting Sam at the end of four of the last six championships has given them all the motivation they need and an added "ruthlessness," as we enter the business end of the season.
