Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their interest in Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.
According to Sky, sources claim that a second bid for the World Cup-winning Spain defender has been made by the Premier League side.
The bid is reported to be £28.6M (€40M) for the 29-year-old Sevilla native.
Off The Ball's European football correspondent Graham Hunter also told Sky Sports News that Ramos "actively wants to join" United.
Last week on Off The Ball, United We Stand fanzine editor and journalist Andy Mitten also suggested that United's interest in the player was very real and also discussed how it affects the future of goalkeeper David De Gea, who is wanted by Real:
Meanwhile, United have announced that England international defender Phil Jones has signed a new contract that will keep him at Old Trafford until at least June 2019.
