The 14 England players who were part of the team that lost to Iceland will forever be tarnished by the memory of the night in Nice.

The Times of London have taken the drastic step of giving all the players 0/10 for the performances in the game. Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford was on the field for less than ten minutes, and despite an impressive performance, he too was given no marks.

Eric Dier was "arguably England's best player at Euro 2016" according to the newspaper and was also given nil points.

Alex Kay-Jelski, the Sports Editor of The Times seemed to lay blame of the performance on former manager Roy Hodgson. "The players aren't bad so who made them play that way?"

It's easy to imagine how painful the loss was, but stunts like that will not endear the team any more to the English public.
