It was a panel of Gaelic football All-Star and All Ireland winning talent on today’s Off the Ball, but talk wasn’t of the game that made these men household names across Ireland. Today the focus was all on Basketball. Jason Sherlock, Liam McHale and Kieran Donaghy were in studio for an in depth chat about the other great love of their sporting lives.

All three have strong connections with basketball and Ger Gilroy delved into this wealth of knowledge and love of the game to look back at a time when basketball enjoyed a brief burst of life on this island, and how the skills proved to be transferable to playing gaelic football.
