The Patriots lose unbeaten record to an overtime Broncos touchdown in Denver

The New England Patriots lost their 2015 season unbeaten record last night as the suffered an overtime defeat to the Denver Broncos in Colorado. 

CJ Anderson's run from the halfway line gave the Broncos the win to move to 9-2 for the season. The loss for the Patriots was their first since their final regular season game of last season. Including the run to the SuperBowl victory, the Patriots have won 13 games in a row.

The Broncos took the lead for the first time in the game with 70 seconds left in the final quarter. Brock Osweiler, who was playing in place of the injured Peyton Manning threw a touchdown pass to Andre Caldwell to take a 24-21 lead. Stephen Gostkowski scored a 47 yard field goal with the last kick of the game to for the Patriots to send the game to overtime.

At one point, the Patriots lead 14-0 and 21-7 to look on course to start the season 11-0. The loss for Bill Belichick's side means that the Carolina Panthers are the only side to remain undefeated this season.
