Many questions remain since the teaser trailer for The Force Awakens was released. Key among those questions is who exactly all these new characters are.

Finally, fans have names to refer to the new faces that were seen in the teaser. Entertainment Weekly had the scoop, presented in slick retro trading card format.

The first character seen in the trailer - the guy in the stormtrooper costume, played by John Boyega - is named Finn, while Daisy Ridley is playing Rey. The new X-Wing pilot (Oscar Isaac) is named Poe Dameron, while the already popular rolling robot goes by the catchy moniker of BB-8.

Finally, the mysterious figure with the meme awakening red lightsaber is Kylo Ren. No word yet on who exactly is playing the character.

This information, of course, raises more questions than it answers. The surnames of Finn and Rey are conspicuously absent, which means they could still be the children of existing characters. Or it could all just be a big tease. Still, a younger generation of Skywalkers or Solos cannot be ruled out, and there are still plenty of characters yet to be revealed.

All will eventually be revealed, but it is looking like we can expect a slow trickle of information between now and the release of The Force Awakens next year. If nothing else, the new Star Wars overlords at Disney are masters of hype.
