John Cleary says he'll wait before deciding whether or not to let his name go forward for the job of Cork senior manager.

Cleary who won two All-Ireland titles with Cork managed the Rebels minor ladies footballers to an All-Ireland crown yesterday says he'll see consider if he'll go for it in the next week or so.

Rory McIlroy may be close to a comeback.

It's being reported that he's booked a practice round at the Whistling Straits for next week’s US PGA Championship this Saturday.

Galway United have reached a first cup final since 1997.

Wales head coach Warren Gatland will name his team today for their first World Cup warm-up match with Ireland this Saturday.

Both sides will use the opportunity to experiment with their squads and as such find out their strongest XV before the tournament kicks off in September.
