Lokomotiv Plodiv lost a man just seconds into their tie with Slavia Sofia at the weekend.

Plodiv tipped the ball off and one of their players, quite clearly, drives the ball straight at the referee. 

The ref was ready and waiting with his red card, which leads us to believe that there had been words prior to the game between the two men involved in the few moments of hilarity.

At a time when people are trying to make their way onto people's Christmas card lists, this Plodiv player just nullified any chance of getting a Christmas gift off the referee and vice versa.
