Rio Ferdinand has said this will probably be his last season as a professional footballer.
The former England defender is now 35 and was not in the starting line up for QPR's last game, the home defeat by Liverpool.
The ex-West Ham, Leeds and Man United centre-back has struggled for form at Loftus Road so far this season.
But he says he is keen to remain in the game in some capacity and was said to be under consideration for a place on an FA shortlist to be a Fifa vice-president.
"I probably think the end of this season," he told the Jonathan Ross Show in an interview set to be broadcast tomorrow,
