Liverpool's season appears have been handed another injury setback.

The Liverpool Echo reports that striker Daniel Sturridge has suffered a recurrence of his thigh injury.

The striker was hoping to make his comeback this weekend against Crystal Palace but reportedly had a setback today when he limped out of training.

The striker is now set to undergo further scan on the injury tomorrow.
