The Teletubbies are coming back to TV. 60 new episodes have been ordered by children's channel CBeebies 13 years after the last ones were made.

Producers say Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa Laa and Po will all be back but that the new version will be 'visually enhanced' with CGI animation.

Teletubbies ran for 365 episodes from March 1997 to January 2001 and became a worldwide phenomenon.

The show has been broadcast in more than 120 countries in 45 languages.

Explaining the decision, CBeebies controller Kay Benbow said "I think that now is the right time to create new episodes of this much-loved, iconic show for the current CBeebies audience".

"I'm sure they will engage with and delight in the activities of Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa Laa and Po, in the same way that children and parents did when they first appeared on our screens" she added.

It is not known when the new episodes will be broadcast.

And of course, who could forget...
