Swansea have confirmed the loan signing of Benfica forward, Nelson Oliveira.

The 23-year-old will begin life with the Swans on January 1st and has been signed as cover, with top scorer Wilfried Bony set to head to the Africa Cup of Nations in the middle of next month.

Bony has notched seven league goals this season.

Oliveira has won 14 caps for Portugal and spent time on loan at Spanish side Deportivo de la Coruña in the 2012-13 season.
