Swansea could take internal action against one of its directors after he reportedly insulted Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal after the club's famous 2-1 win at the weekend.

Dutch businessman John van Zweden is alleged to have made the remark to a TV crew from the Netherlands who were following him for a documentary to be screened this week in Holland.

Van Zweden called his compatriot an "arrogant bastard".

Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has called the incident "disappointing".
