Jonjo Shelvey is on his way out of Liverpool after a deal was agreed with Swansea.

The 21-year-old will cost the Welsh club about €7 million.

The England cap joined Liverpool from Charlton Athletic in 2010. He started last season as a favourite of Brendan Rodgers but in the second half of the season, he got less game time.

Newly-promoted Crystal Palace were also said to be interested in securing his signature but ultimately he has chosen the League Cup champions.

Shelvey is set to travel to Swansea to finalize personal terms.
