Third place Tottenham are without Gareth Bale for their home game with Everton after the Welsh star picked up an ankle injury on Thursday.

England winger Aaron Lennon and William Gallas also picked injuries against FC Basel and will miss today's game which will have a bearing on who qualifies for Europe.

But Everton also have key players missing with Marouane Fellaini and Steven Pienaar suspended.

Kick off at White Hart Lane is 2.05pm.

That game will be our first live game of the day on Newstalk Sport with commentary from Dave McIntyre and Kenny Cunningham.

Our second live game of the day comes from Loftus Road where QPR face Wigan in a proverbial relegation six-pointer. Harry Redknapp's QPR need a win to give themselves any hopes of survival as they languish in 19th place, eigth points from safety.

Redknapp will have to work without Shaun Wright-Philipps for the rest of the season after his ankle surgery earlier in the week.

Wigan are one place above them but know a win would lift them clear of the relegation zone.

Conor Morris and Ireland international Stephen Hunt will bring you live coverage from Loftus Road.

Meanwhile Paolo Di Canio takes charge of Sunderland for the first time in the Premier League this afternoon after replacing Martin O'Neill last week.

The Black Cats are away to Chelsea at 3pm and will face a Fernando Torres who hopes some vestige of form has returned after a two goal performance in the Europa League.

However the Spanish striker is not a shoe-in to start, with Demba likely to get the nod from Rafa Benitez.

But Gary Cahill and Ashley Cole are definitely out.

However Sunderland's injury crisis runs much deeper with Lee Cattermole and Steven Fletcher unable to help out in this season's fight against relegation, while David Vaughn and Carlos Cuellar are definitely ruled out.

Also at 3pm, Newcastle are up against Fulham. The Toon are just three points above the relegation zone but were in Europa League action on Thursday.

But the first game of the day will see Liverpool welcome West Ham to Anfield with kick off at 1.30pm.

Brendan Rodgers has no new injuries to contend with but West Ham must do without Andy Carroll who is ineligible due to his loan agreement with the Reds and ex-Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole is out through injury.
