Goals from Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata and Robin Van Persie have given Manchester United a 3-0 win at home to Liverpool.
Brendan Rodgers' side weren't aided in their cause by some poor defending, and an unbeatable David De Gea in the United goal.
It was Rooney with the first goal only 12 minutes in. Juan Mata made it 2-0 five minutes before the second half, with United likely relieved to have avoided an offside flag there.
The third goal would not come until the 71st minute, when van Persie was teed up by Mata. But it was United's Spanish goalkeeper who made the best impression overall, with a number of outstanding saves throughout the game.
It marks a bad end to the week for Liverpool, who went out of the Champions League on Tuesday.
Manchester United remain third in the table - five points behind Manchester City - while Liverpool sit at tenth place.
Meanwhile, Spurs are celebrating after their 2-1 win against Swansea in the 4pm kick-off.
Harry Kane opened the scoring for Spurs with just four minute played, while Wilfried Bony equalised three minutes into the second half.
It wasn't until the 89th minute that Christian Eriksen scored the decider.
The win sees Spurs climb to seventh place, while Swansea drop to ninth.
