It was an incident that was seemingly being left in the past, but Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has risked reopening old wounds.
In an interview with Uruguayan radio station Sport890 AM, Suarez said that the race row with Manchester United's Patrice Evra was "all false".
He said: "The case with Evra was all false. I was accused without proof. But that's in the past. I was sad at that moment, but I'm happy today."

He added that the only two errors of judgement he had made during his career were the biting incidents involving Ottman Bakkal and Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic.
