Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge will miss tomorrow’s Premier League game with Hull City due to an ankle injury. It is believed the England international could be out for 6 weeks with ligament damage, although the club have yet to assess the severity of the injury.
Sturridge has scored 11 goals for Liverpool this season, including an 89th minute equaliser in last weekend’s Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.
The injury could hardly come at a worse time for Liverpool, as they face a stern and extended test of their credentials over the next month, with seven Premier League games, including trips to Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City to come.
