Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge will miss tomorrow’s Premier League game with Hull City due to an ankle injury. It is believed the England international could be out for 6 weeks with ligament damage, although the club have yet to assess the severity of the injury.

Sturridge has scored 11 goals for Liverpool this season, including an 89^th minute equaliser in last weekend’s Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.

The injury could hardly come at a worse time for Liverpool, as they face a stern and extended test of their credentials over the next month, with seven Premier League games, including trips to Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City to come.
