Stoke boss Mark Hughes has warned Tottenham's Sandro over his targeting of Potters midfielder Charlie Adam on social media.
Adam's challenge on Sandro's Spurs colleague Paulinho last weekend injured the Brazilian, and he is likely to be out for a month with damaged ankle ligaments.
It is not the first time a current or former Tottenham player has been injured by an Adam tackle, with Gareth Bale having twice suffered damaged ligaments.
After news of the Paulinho injury, Adam used his Twitter account to deny that he had any issues with Tottenham players.
But Spurs' Brazilian midfielder Sandro used his nickname on social media to send out a message to Adam, warning that the "The Beast is watching you".
Hughes is not happy about that and hinted that Stoke could lodge a complaint with the FA.
"In terms of what [Sandro] said, we don't need that. He has to be careful because the FA might look at that situation."
Sandro posted this image on his Instagram account with the words 'Charlie Adams - THE BEAST IS WATCHING YOU!!!'
