The Premier League weekend finished with another 5 goals, bringing the weekend total to 42 thanks to Stoke's 4-1 win at Villa Park.
Stoke City took their first away win since August, beating Aston Villa 4-1 at Villa Park, and the first time they have scored 4 goals away from home in the Premier League.
The home side got off to a flying start with Christian Benteke opening the scoring after just 5 minutes, driving home a pulled back pass from Fabian Delph from twelve yards out.
Stoke hit back with two goals in four minutes, from Peter Odemwinge and Peter Crouch scoring in the 22nd and 26th minutes, respectively.
Stoke maintained possession and control of the game for long periods and by the end of the first half they were almost toying with their hosts. They added a third goal just before the break when Steven N’Zonzi drove the ball home from the edge of the area.
The Potters wrapped it up with a last minute goal from Geoff Cameron in front of a then rapidly emptying Villa Park.
