Dundalk manager Stephen Kenny leads the way as the PFAI Manager of the Year shortlist was announced on Thursday afternoon.

The Dubliner is named alongside Derry City boss Kenny Shiels and Harry Kenny of Bray Wanderers.

Shiels helped Derry City to a third place finish this season, while Harry Kenny helped Bray survive the drop when they lost manager Mick Cooke midway through the season. Kenny led them to a seventh place finish in the league with one game to play which could still see them climb above St Pat's.

However, Stephen Kenny remains the hot favourite to win the accolade after helping to guide Dundalk to a third consecutive league title. He is also on course for a double-double, with the Lilywhites meeting Cork City in the final of the FAI Cup on November 6.

The awards take place this Saturday at 7pm.
