Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry has become the first ever unanimous MVP winner in NBA history.
The point guard got 130 first place votes out of 130 from a panel of NBA writers and broadcasters to win the Most Valuable Player award for the second time in a row.
Shaquille O'Neal (2000) and LeBron James (2013) had previously come closest to achieving the feat, but both fell one vote short.
Curry (28) was a key part of the Warriors team which set a record of 73 wins during the regular season, as they seek a second NBA title in a row.
Curry averaged 30.1 points and 6.7 assists per game as Golden State won a record 73 regular season games. He also led the NBA in three-point scores.
