It's the tenth anniversary of Liverpool's Istanbul heroics and to mark the momentous occasion, the city's Echo Arena will host a get-together of that team.

But they could not track down one particular player - ex-Ireland right back Steve Finnan, who started that final against AC Milan.

Since no one was quite sure where the former Portsmouth, Fulham and Espanyol defender is, a Twitter hashtag #FindSteveFinnan was launched to try and find answers.

The Irish Independent's Dan McDonnell made a few enquires and when he joined us on Off The Ball tonight as always on the Football Show he ended the suspense.

 "I did make some enquiries today and Steve Finnan's in London, enjoying life out of the limelight and not seeking any form of post-football fame or media work or anything like that. I believe he's pretty contented and happy about that," said Dan.
