Sky Lantern claimed a stunning win in the Group 1 Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot.

The 1,000 Guineas winner surged down the outside in the final furlong and swept to a four length victory in the feature race of the day.

The Richard Hannon trained filly was sent off the 9-to-2 joint favourite but she won easing-up under jockey Richard Hughes.

33-to-1 outsider Kenhope was second with Just The Judge in third.

The other joint-favourite, Dermot Weld's Big Break finished back in 7th.
