The Cork hurlers make six changes to their side for Sunday's Allianz National League quarter-final against Tipperary.
Corner-back Damien Cahalane gets his first senior start of the season.
The St. Finbarr's clubman is part of a new-look full-back line that also includes Killian Burke and Eoin Keane with Kilian Murphy and Shane O'Neill both out injured, while Stephen McDonnell is unavailable because of work commitments.
Wing-back William Egan returns to the side in place of Stephen White, while Paul Haughney starts in the midfield which will allow Pa Cronin to move up into the half-forwards.
With Stephen Moylan out injured, Jamie Coughlan comes in at corner forward to join Patrick Horgan and Conor Lehane in the full-forward line, with Brian Hartnett named on the bench.
