Simona Halep will play Jelena Ostapenko in Saturday's French Open women's final.
Halep beat second seed Karolina Pliskova in three sets to reach a second Roland Garros final in four years.
Halep who is third seed for the tournament won 6-4 3-6 6-3 against a player who could have risen to World No 1 had she won the match.
Halep has previously reached a French Open final once before in 2014 which is the only previous time the 25 year old Romanian had reached a Grand Slam final.
She has semi final appearances to her name at Wimbledon and the US Open previously.
Meanwhile, Ostapenko had celebrated her 20th birthday by delivering a three set victory over Timea Bacsinszkyto become the first unseeded woman in a French Open final since 1983.
