Simon Zebo is likely to be an absentee for Munster's second game of the new Pro 12 season.
The Ireland winger had a scan on a rib injury yesterday that is expected to keep him out of Friday's meeting with Cardiff at Irish Independent Park.
He sustained the injury early on in the opening match of the campaign against Scarlets.

Zebo and Kevin O'Byrne (elbow) are both undergoing scans on their respective injuries.
In better news for Rassie Erasmus, CJ Stander is expected to return for that game as the province confirmed in their squad update.
