Joe Schmidt is most people’s number one choice to assume control of the Irish national side following the departure of Declan Kidney, but is he as well suited to the role as most claim?

Frankie Sheahan, former Munster and Ireland believes Schmidt might not “be the person to deal with the inner politics that go with a national job.”
