Shay Given has been linked with a move to Swansea once his one-month loan deal with Middlesbrough expires.
The ex-Ireland goalkeeper is said to be on a three-man shortlist to temporarily replace Swansea's injured goalkeeper Michel Vorm according to the Irish Independent.
Vorm may require surgery on a knee problem according to Swans' manager Michael Laudrup.
Given is currently on loan at Middlesbrough from Aston Villa until December 27th and he is believed to be interested in another emergency loan in the shape of Swansea.
The 37-year-old Donegal native has conceded four goals in three games and kept one clean sheet since joining Boro.
