Maria Sharapova's tennis career is in jeopardy after she revealed she failed a drugs test at the Australian Open.
The five-time Grand Slam winner revealed on Monday night that Meldonium was found in her system after a quarter-final loss to Serena Williams in Melbourne. Sharapova revealed that she had used the drug since 2006 but it was only added to WADA's prohibited list at the start of January.
Despite Sharapova's provisional suspension, the President of the Russian Tennis Federation expects Sharapova to compete at the Rio Olympics. The Russian star won silver at London 2012 in the Women's Singles.

BBC tennis commentator Alastair Eykyn spoke to Newstalk Breakfast about Sharapova's news and claims she would be "ill-advised" to participate at the Olympic Games in Brazil.
"Russia as we know at the moment is all over the place when it comes to drugs and doping. Thier athletes are front and centre of every single doping story at the moment."
Eykyn added that he "wouldn't put any credence or credibility" into Sharapova's possible participation in Rio de Janeiro in August.
