Shane Lowry says he has no plans to make a permanent move to the United States at the moment.

The Offaly golfer is making his mark on the other side of the Atlantic and when asked by Off The Ball's Joe Molloy if he had any plans to live there, he had one answer.

"No. My life is in Ireland. I love Ireland too much. I will play a little bit more over there and travel over and back. It's easy to fly from Dublin to places in America. Getting over a bit of jet lag is easy and going for three-week stints," he said, adding that "I don't think my life will ever be outside of Ireland".   

However, he did suggest that he could revise that view one day, although any decision would have to take family life into account.
