The French press are reporting that Jonathan Sexton picked up an injury in the warm-up before Racing Metro's defeat at Biarritz at the weekend.
The Irish out-half was an unused substitute in the game, but rather than being rested, Sexton was reportedly unable to play due to a hip injury.
He is now a doubt for Ireland's opening November international game against Samoa on Saturday.

There have long been concerns that the number of games Sexton has to play in the Top 14 could lead to a greater risk of injuries.
