Adam Scott is three ahead of the chasing pack heading into the final day of the Arnold Palmer invitational at Bay Hill. An uneven day saw Scott come away from the course with a 1 under 71, on 15 under for the tournament and with the chance to take the world number one ranking a little shakier but still alive.
Scott went into the third day with a 7 shot lead but 2 over in the first 5 holes saw his lead down to 1. The Masters champion was able to right his round and by the time he was teeing off at the 17th he held a 5 stroke lead.
Keegan Bradley is Scott’s closest challenger, with a birdie at 18 adding to Scott’s bogey at 17 to narrow the gap to just 3.
Graeme McDowell will tee off for his final round on 4 under par, with Padraig Harrington on 3 under.
