The Scottish Rugby Union has suspended Glasgow forward Ryan Wilson for three months after he was convicted of assault.
Wilson has been “suspended with immediate effect, without pay, from training with, and playing for, Glasgow Warriors for a period of three months” by a three-man disciplinary panel.
In addition to not being paid during that time, he won't be considered for selection for the Scotland team until August 23rd, meaning he'd miss two World Cup warm-ups during that month.
